Our first harvest!

Posted by Sarah on June 10, 2009

At last we have finally been able to harvest our first crop. We picked our first lettuce leaves last week and I last night I turned out 2 of the containers for the potatoes and found some lovely spuds!  Nothing beats the lovely taste of freshly picked leaves or the earthy smell of the potatoes, and so rewarding to know that the effort we have put in hasn’t been wasted!
