Onion Harvest

Posted by Sarah on September 20, 2009

Well we have finally harvested the onions we planted all those months ago and are quite impressed by the size of some of them! hand holding onionWe knew that the sets were ready as the tops had bent over and were starting to die off. The seeds that we planted are taking a little longer and should be ready to pull in a few weeks.

Now we have to let them dry in a warm place and them we can attempt to string them up and resist eating them all in one go, hopefully they will last us until winter.
