After moving into our first house we were keen to not join the rat race of buying from supermarket chains and decided to apply for an allotment. After a short while we acquired a plot a short walk from the house and set to clearing the plot of much overgrown weeds. We have slowly turned over the ground and picked out the roots left behind. We have now reached the stage of sowing seeds of various types and are now keeping our fingers crossed something grows!
