Eastern Spiced Lamb Tagine
This is a recipe that is cooked in a traditional Moroccan tagine, however if you don’t have one of these you can easily cook it on the hob in a large pan instead of transferring to the oven.
Sausage Bake
A recipe taken from Delicious magazine and a firm favourite in our house! More…
Chicken Fried Rice
A much healithy version of the favourite take away meal. If you don’t fancy chicken, try with prawns instead. More…
Lamb Curry
This is a recipe that I learnt whilst doing cooking night classes. A little more unusual as the rice is cooked in with the curry and tastes fantastic! You can use different curry pastes to change the flavour and also use frozen spinach to make it a little cheaper. More…
Easy Victoria Sponge Cake
This is a very quick recipe and produces a scrummy cake. You can also use the same mix to make fairy cakes, just use paper cases instead of the cake tin and cook in the oven for 10 -15 minutes.
Sweet and Sour pork
There are a lot of recipes out there for sweet and sour pork, however I think this is one of the better ones and just as easy as getting it out of a jar! You can also try it with chicken or maybe use fresh pineapple instead of tinned. If you don’t want to use fresh ginger, use approx 2 tsp of ground ginger.
Chicken en Croute
A quick and easy classic recipe and a favourite in our house! If you have any left over pastry, why not try one of my other recipes such as tart tatin.
Spicy Moroccan chicken with cous cous
This is a modified version of a Jamie Oliver recipe, adapted to use chicken instead of fish. If you’re on a budget use chicken thighs to make this dish a bit cheaper. Alternatively if you fancy fish you can use salmon fillets or white fish instead.
